A group of experienced hunters, led by Sergey, ventured into the deep taiga for another hunt. They knew the area like the back of their hands, but this time they decided to venture a little further into unexplored parts of the forest. After long hours of searching for game, tired and hungry, they suddenly stumbled upon something completely unexpected — a huge, luxurious house surrounded by a high fence. In the middle of the wild forest, such opulence seemed entirely out of place.
Curiosity got the better of them, and the hunters decided to get closer. The gate was ajar, which only piqued their interest further. As they entered the yard, they felt a sudden shift in the atmosphere. It seemed as if everything around them had abruptly become quiet and ominous. Sergey was the first to notice strange symbols carved into the doors of the house and warned the others to be cautious. But it was already too late.
When they tried to retreat from the house, something began to happen. The doors suddenly slammed shut, and a strange shadow resembling a human figure appeared before them. The hunters immediately realized they had fallen into a trap. They were unable to move, feeling their strength drain away with each passing second. Their vision darkened, and the air around them became thick and heavy, as if the forest itself had come alive and was drawing them deeper into its depths.
Sergey, summoning all his strength, recalled an old hunting superstition he had once heard from the elders. He pulled out an amulet he always carried with him and began to whisper words of a prayer. Gradually, the shadows began to recede, and the fog started to lift. The house before them began to lose its solidity, revealing itself as the illusion it truly was. The hunters realized they had narrowly escaped becoming victims of an ancient curse hidden in these parts.
