They are kind and caring, gentle and sensitive. Here is another touching example of such an unlikely friendship. This time the story is about an orphaned and rescued raccoon and two adorable dogs. Their special relationship has just captured the hearts of many on social media. Pumpkin, a month old raccoon, lost his mother and was left an orphan. The poor little creature was quickly injured by falling from a tree. She was then taken to an orphanage in the Bahamas, where the staff could not properly treat her.
Luckily, the kind couple agreed to take care of the baby, and after his adoption, they brought the little raccoon to their sweet home, offering him their love and care. After that day, the sad life of the adopted raccoon changed dramatically. Adoptive parents, William and Laura, took such good care of Pumpkin that she made a full recovery within a few weeks.
The sweet couple treated her like their own child. But their loving family also had two rescue dogs, Toffee and Oreo. At first they suspected how their dogs would accept a new member of the family, but their worries were in vain. Butterscotch and Oreo become friends with Pumpkin as soon as they meet her. They shared the house with their younger sister with great pleasure. So the trio soon formed a special bond. Pumpkin seemed to tolerate her mother’s dogs. She followed them wherever they went.
