MOM GIVES BIRTH AT HOME AND HER CORGI NEVER LEAVES HER SIDE, SUPPORTING HER THE ENTIRE TIME

Kristin Waner, a newborn, birth, and maternity photographer based in Odessa, Texas, considers herself fortunate to have witnessed Brooke Ellington’s one-of-a-kind birth session, which included a special doula, a corgi named Ranger.Brooke’s Family has a special place in Kristin’s heart because this isn’t the first time she’s photographed Brooke during labor and delivery.The previous time, Ryder, Brooke’s Corgi, acted as a doula during the birth of her first child, Boyd, and this time, Ranger, the Corgi, acted as a doula during the birth of Berkeley.
Throughout these trying times, Kristin witnessed Ranger by his mother’s side, comforting her during labor and birth pains.Ranger, like Ryder, would show his love and care for Brooke by allowing her to hug, kiss, and just be a calming presence for her whenever she had contractions.Ranger made sure he was doing his best to support the family as a good boy from the bed to the birthing tub until he finally got to see his human sister.He was present both indoors and outdoors to share the special moment with the family.
Kristin, thankfully, captured as many photos as she could of such a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and now we can all see what it’s like to have a Corgi as a doula.Scroll down to see Kristin’s lovely work and Ranger’s adorable assistance.
Unfortunately, Ryder passed away before Brooke gave birth to her 3rd child, Berkeley. This time it was the turn of another loving Corgi, Ranger.
Ranger couldn’t keep his excitement from beginning to end.When Kristin arrived, he was part of the welcoming party, and he returned to Brooke’s side as soon as the labor began.
Kristin knew she couldn’t let any of these precious moments slip, so she made sure to capture every moment.
He rushed to see Brooke’s baby and was overjoyed to learn that he had been blessed with a sister.
Kristin was completely overwhelmed after viewing all of the photos.She recognizes how fortunate she is to have witnessed Ranger’s unconditional love for his pack.Brooke’s family will be even happier now that they have a new member, as well as Ranger, a loving and caring good boy who is destined to be their forever furry companion.
