At the age of 32, she was considered an experienced driver by many. However, on that fateful day, there was nothing to suggest it, but then something terrible happened!

Courtney Ann Sanford, 32, known as an experienced driver, experienced an unexpected end to a day that had started like any other. While she was out, she felt a wave of joy when her favorite song, „Happy“ by Pharrell Williams, played on the radio. To share her excitement, Courtney took a selfie and captioned it on Facebook with the words: „This song makes me happy!“

This decision, made in the blink of an eye, turned out to be fatal. Shortly afterward, Courtney’s vehicle collided with a truck at about 60 km/h. The impact sent her car into a ditch and then into a tree. As a result of the devastating collision, her car caught fire, and she was trapped inside.

Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries. When her family was notified, they learned about her last Facebook post, which shockingly was timestamped exactly at the time of the incident. The police confirmed: „The post was made at 8:33 AM. We received the emergency call at 8:34 AM.“

Courtney’s tragic end underscores how dangerous distractions while driving can be. Her story serves as a serious reminder: „When you’re behind the wheel, focus on driving. Valuable moments of life can wait.“ Any momentary distraction can have irreversible consequences.
